A French Gatepost Lantern

A French outdoor lantern, a type designed to be fitted to the top of gate posts, on either side of a gate. The lantern has its typical chimney-top, one of the window panels is hinged and has a swivel-lock. Please note: Miguel has several of these Parisian street lanterns that can be fitted for being placed on gateposts, as seen in these photos. Our workshop can fit clear or frosted glass to the lanterns and wire these to Australian safety standards, for outdoor use. Area of Paris, circa 1930.
