Old fabrics may be steam-cleaned and reused but most items will need recovering, if not actual reupholstery and possibly some repairs and refinishing. We outsource fabrics and upholstery work at wholesale/trade prices. These discounted prices are passed on to our clients with no added mark-up. We have possibly the largest stock of antique sofas in Melbourne, comprising the French Louis XV, Louis XVI, Directoire and Empire styles, as well as a large assortment of rush-seat French provincial benches. Our workshop is able to carry out any conservation work, and also oversee and help with any required fabrics, upholstery, caning and rushing work.
