A set of thirty-two 19th century French Louis XVI style, finely etched crystal wine glasses standing on turned baluster stems, the bowls decorated with elegant hand-cut 'starburst' and 'olive' patterns. The set comprises eight glasses in each of the four sizes. Please note: this set comes with the original ninth, spare glass, for each of the four sizes. The different glass sizes allow for the serving of water, red wine, white wine and dessert wine. When tapped with a fingernail, the fine crystal bowls make a 'ting' sound, like bells.
