A small sized, 18th century French provincial, Louis XVI period solid walnut 'bureau plat' lady's desk of five drawers, standing on square section, tapering legs. A pull-out slide is fitted to the front of this desk. Retaining a good, dry walnut patination. Area of Normandy, circa 1780.
