A large and wide 19th century French Louis XIV style solid oak Monastery's refectory table, the 4 cm thick top with a wonderful texture from use, standing on elegant, cannon barrel turned oak legs joined by a sturdy 'H' stretcher, well-worn by feet. Retaining a very good and original patination throughout, the surfaces of the timbers nicely burnished. Please note the large overhangs of the top, at each table end.
