A 19th century French 'Globe de Mariée', a marriage bouquet under a 'cloche' glass bell, standing on a purpose-made ebonised timber plinth. A 'Globe de Mariée' was traditionally a souvenir of a couples' wedding day, displaying personalised items to symbolise the hopes and and dreams for their marriage. Area of Normandy, circa 1900.

Condition report: In good and original, unrestored condition, showing slight colour fading in keeping with its age.
