A 19th century French Louis XVI style carved and gilt Trumeau mirror of Parisian quality, the front decorated with fasces and flowers mouldings, the curve pediment festooned with swags of flowers. An oval medallion containing a water-coloured print depicting a romantic ‘Scene Galante’ is fitted to the centre of the pediment. Retaining the original bevelled mirror pane. Area of Paris, circa 1880.
