A large and fine, early 20th century French Napoleonic Empire style gilt brass and patinated metal six light chandelier, retaining its original chains and ceiling cup. Each of the arms in the shape of a stylised dolphin and decorated with 'Palmettes' and other typical Neoclassical motifs of the Parisian Empire style. Area of Paris, circa 1930.

Condition report: In very good and original condition, freshly rewired to Australian safety standards using gold silk electrical cords.
Dimensions: Diameter 67 cm, height to first ceiling cup 83 cm, overall height 110 cm. Please let us know if you require a specific drop from your ceiling for this light and our workshop can do this sympathetically.
