A Petitot & Ezan 'Icicles' Art Deco Chandelier

A 1930s French Art Deco period ceiling light designed by Henri Petitot (1914-1938), the brass structure copper-plated and decorated with large, cascading glass icicle shapes, each of the five arms and the plinth are fitted with outsized and haut relief 'icicle' patterned bowls. Each of the glass components was handmade and signed by Jean Gauthier at Ézanville, North of Paris. Area of Paris, circa 1930.

Condition report: Complete and in excellent, original condition. Freshly re-wired to Australian safety standards.
