A French Gothic Chandelier

A large French Gothic style wrought iron chandelier of eight lights, composed of of a rectangular body of hand-beaten and riveted ironwork, decorated with external 'torchere' lights. This chandelier hangs from the original solid steel chains and from its cruciform ceiling cup. Please note the exquisite quality of the wrought iron work. Provenance: a Chateau in the area of Isle de France (Greater Paris), circa 1930.
