An 18th century Parisian crystal chandelier of excellent proportions, the shaped, solid bronze 'cage' frame with its original metal patination. Please note the quantity and the quality of the 'Poignards' (crystal spikes) and of the large-sized, shaped and cut crystal drops as well as the subtly coloured amber crystals, interspersed amongst the clear ones. This chandelier is lit by the nine external bulbs fitted on 'candle sleeves' and also by three internal lights. Retaining the original and large cut-crystal pinth ball. Area of Paris, circa 1780.
