A Parisian Crystal Chandelier

A fine 19th century French Napoleon III period cut-crystal seven light 'cage' chandelier of excellent proportions, the shaped solid bronze frame with a very good, original patination. Please note the size and the quality of the 'Poignards' (crystal daggers) and of the shaped and cut clear and wine-coloured crystals. Retaining its original tear-shaped plinth ball. Area of Paris, circa 1870.

Please note: this item is due in Melbourne in mid 2026.

Condition report: In excellent and original condition. Recently rewired to European safety standards, which are equal to Australian ones.

Dimensions: Diameter 55 cm, overall height 89 cm. Please enquire if you need a specific drop from your ceiling for this chandelier.
