An elegant French Louis XVI style gilt spelter 'Athenian' table lamp, the urn shaped body decorated with Classical figures and standing on tripod bases. Fitted with a purpose made Coco Chanel style silk lampshade. Area of Paris, circa 1930.

Condition report: Complete and in excellent condition. Fully re-wired to Australian safety standards using black silk electrical cords and cord switches.
Dimensions: Height to lightbulb holder 40 cm, overall height including shade 54 cm. Diameter of shade 34 cm.
