A large, 19th century English George III style solid mahogany drop leaf table, able to comfortably sit ten people: 3 people at each of the long sides and 2 people at each of the table ends. When the table is open, the drop-leaves are supported by gate-legs that open completely, and don't get in the way of diners' legs. Standing on eight square section tapering legs, tipped with brass finials. There is ample leg-room under the tabletop. Please note the nicely softened and faded mahogany timber tonalities. Area of England, circa 1880.
