A French Louis XV style carved and gilt console table of long and shallow proportions, standing on four elegant Cabriole legs decorated with 'Rocaille' and stylised foliate motifs.  Retaining its original, shaped and moulded-edge 'Breche' marble top. Made with fine workmanship, typical of the fine cabinetmaking workshops of the Parisian 'Faubourg Saint Antoine' district. Area of Paris, circa 1930.
