A 19th century French Napoleon III period, Louis XV style carved solid walnut console table, the front decorated with carved and fretted haut-relief foliate and seashell motifs, standing on elegantly shaped Cabriole legs joined by a carved 'X' stretcher. This console retains its original, serpentine-shaped and moulded edge marble top. Please note the original and rich, bronze-like patina of the walnut timbers. Area of Paris, circa 1860.
