A small, 18th century French provincial solid oak farmhouse table, the top made from two well-burnished planks retaining a rich oak colour, above square-section, chamfered square-section legs joined by an 'H' stretcher. A drawer with a lock and key is fitted to the front rail. The shallow depth of this table makes it an ideal console table. Area of Lower Normandy, circa 1780.
