An elegant and smaller-proportioned, early 20th century French provincial Louis XVI, mahogany and gilt brass-moulded commode of three drawers, of simple Neoclassical design. Please note the gilt brass mouldings offsetting the nicely faded mahogany timbers of the drawers. Area of Isle de France (Greater Paris), circa 1930.
