A large, 19th century English Victorian period oak & brass-bound travelling 'campaign' chest, fitted with the original brass mounts and brass carrying handles. The top with an inset brass plate inscribed with "Mrs. A. Mackenzie". Retaining a warm, rich  patina, and ideally suited for use as a decorative coffee table. Area of England, circa 1860.
