A 19th century French Napoleon III period, Empire style mantle clock, the gilt metal surfaces with burnished and satin finishes, decorated in the shape of a Classical temple with four pilasters, a frieze with dentils and paterae, standing on a plinth with a fretted Classical frieze. Retaining the original gilt face, original hour and minute hands and winding key. Area of Paris, circa 1870.
Condition report: Complete and in good, unrestored condition. The mechanism is in good working order. It will require servicing.
