An set of twelve French Louis XV style finely solid oak dining chairs decorated with haut-relief carved and shaped mouldings, standing on Cabriole legs joined by 'X' stretchers, the backs and seats fitted with finely woven rattan cane. Please note the elegant 'a la reine' style of the backrests and the wonderful, luminous quality of the oak timbers. Area of Paris, circa 1900.

Please note: this item is due in Melbourne mid 2027.

Condition report: In good and original, unrestored condition.

Dimensions: Width 56 cm, height of backrests 99 cm.
