A pair of 19th century French Napoleon III period, Louis XVI style, carved and parcel-gilded solid walnut chairs, the backrests with shaped crests decorated with haut-relief carved acanthus leaf mouldings and gadrooned mouldings surmounted by large and fretted laurel wreaths, standing on tapering and fluted legs.
