A comfortable and light-weight, solid oak ladderback French provincial 'fauteuil' armchair, decorated with bas-relief carved seashell motifs, the broad seats fitted with woven rush. Typical design of provincial Louis XV style armchairs from the area of Southern France, circa 1930.

Condition report: Complete and in good, unrestored condition, the rush of the seat requiring repairs. Please feel free to ask for a restoration quote from our workshop.
