A wrought iron Console Table

A long and narrow, mid 19th century French Napoleon III period cast iron balcony grille decorated with scrolling motifs, incorporated into a solid wrought iron frame. The entire console table has been finished to a gun-barrel grey colour hand-made from natural rock pigments, the grille has been cleaned back of paint and left in the raw. Fitted with a Carrara marble that has been honed, not polished.
