A pair of elegant 19th century French, Louis XVI style, finely carved and painted 'Bergere en Gondole' armchairs of simple and elegant Neoclassical design. Please note the beautiful, sweeping curves of the back-rests, and the excellent patination of the original painted finish. Freshly re-upholstered in John Robshaw 'Lasan Lapis' fabric. Area of Paris, circa 1900.

Condition report: Complete and in good and original condition. The painted timbers left with the signs of age, newly reupholstered.

Dimensions: Width 70 cm, depth 65 cm, height of backrests 100 cm.
