A large and wide pair of 19th century French Louis XV style carved solid walnut 'Bergères a Oreilles' wingback library armchairs. Please note the graceful lines and the broad proportions of these very comfortable armchairs, and the quality of the hand-carved mouldings. Area of Paris, circa 1880.

Condition report: In good and original condition, showing wear in keeping with its age. Requiring to be reupholstered and refitted with plush cushions.
Dimensions: Height 107 cm, width 70 cm. Cushion 56 deep x 58 wide. Seat height will be around 42 - 45cm.
