A 19th century French Napoleon III period 'gueridon' centre table, the oval, ebonised paper mache top with raised edges, decorated with a mother of pearl inlaid, gilded and hand painted bouquet of flowers surrounded by foliate trellis borders. Standing on a turned, ebonised and parcel gilt pedestal with tripod feet. Area of Paris, circa 1870.
