An early 20th century French Empire style mahogany 'Gueridon' Salon table, each of its three legs in the shape of a Classical pilaster with gilt brass capitols and plinths. Of wonderfully restrained and masculine character, retaining its original, fossilised marble top. Area of Paris, circa 1930.
