A 19th century French Louis XVI style carved beechwood tabouret of fine quality, decorated with haut relief carved mouldings and foliate motifs, the oval-ended seat fitted with finely woven cane, the tapering and fluted legs joined by a double-H-stretcher. Area of Paris, circa 1880.
