An elegant, 19th century French Louis XIV style carved solid walnut Queen size bed, the bed head and footer panelled and moulded, decorated with finely carved haut-relief Neoclassical pediments, finials and fitted with turned pilasters. The Parisian maker's hallmark on one of the rails. Retaining the original side rails. Area of Paris, circa 1880.
