A large, early 20th century French Art Nouveau period majolica ‘cache-pot’ jardiniere planter vase decorated with patterns in haut relief, including elephants standing in foliage and fighting with a boa constrictor snake, the colours and patterns of the glaze are typical of the barbotine De Bruyn majolica.
