A pair of 18th century French Louis XVI period bronze and cut crystal 'baluster' chandeliers of six lights each, of a suitable size for a drawing or dining room, these Classically proportioned 'baluster' chandeliers are densely decorated with large, shaped and waterwheel-cut crystal drops, with 'rosette' crystals and with large crystal 'poignards' (turret-shaped finials). The chandeliers' bronze structures have an excellent patination, retaining their original and large plinth-balls. Please note the high quality and wonderful shapes of the central balusters. Area of Paris, circa 1780.
