A large and important French Napoleonic Empire period, finely cast, chased and gilt bronze wall lights, the uprights in the shape of Classical Greek figures of maidens, holding 'torchères' in their outstretched arms. Please note the high quality of the cast and fire-gilt bronze work. Area of Paris, circa 1810.
Condition report: In excellent condition, requiring to be wired to Australian safety standards.
Dimensions: Width 30 cm, height 60 cm, plus candles and lightbulbs.
