A large, mid 20th century French oil-on-canvas still life of good composition and colour, depicting roses in a glass vase - painted on an unprimed canvas, using a spatula. Retaining the original vintage frame. Signed on the lower left-hand corner "Jac Laubé" (born in Paris in 1904). Area of Paris, dated 1953.
