A 19th century Italian oil on canvas seascape in the manner of Salvator Rosa (Naples 1615 - Rome 1673) depicting a Marina rendered in the romantic style, with towers, arches and ruins, and with sailing ships at anchor in the foreground. Fitted into a later, carved and gilt frame. Area of Naples, circa 1860.
