A large French Post Impressionist style oil on canvas landscape depicting a hay harvest, the three figures in the foreground enjoying a lunch break. The painting is fitted into a period, carved and gilt frame. Signed at the bottom-left "E. Michel". Area of Greater Paris, circa 1920.

Condition report: In good, unrestored condition. There is a repairable hole and some small losses of painted finish requiring repairs. Please feel free to ask our workshop for a quote for restoration work.
