A vintage Italian Empire style glazed majolica planter vase, designed to have a terracotta vase of live plants inside it, decorated with fretwork, crackle-glazing and with ribbons holding Neoclassical wreaths, the handles in the shape of acanthus leaves. Area of Bassano de Grappa, circa 1950.

Condition report: In good and original, unrestored condition, showing slight surface wear in keeping with its age and use.
