A 19th century French Louis XV style blown glass and silver plated wine decanter, the pouring top with a hinged lid which is decorated with stylised foliate and Rocaille motifs, above a baluster body decorated with waterwheel-cut patterns, standing on broad plinth. Area of Greater Paris (Isle de France), circa 1880.

Condition report: In good and original condition, showing wear in keeping with its age and use.
