A 19th century French Saint Clement majolica water jug in the shape of a duck, the design in the French Art Nouveau style. The spout is the duck's bill, a decorative carrying handle is at the back. Please note the sticker on the body of the duck, from when 'P. Garnier' marketed and sold absinthe in this duck. Area of Nancy, circa 1880.
