A 19th century French Art Nouveau period glazed 'Barbotine' majolica asparagus pitcher, wonderfully decorated with haut-relief and asparagus stalks bound together in a bunch. Please note the excellent colours of the glazes. Area of Luneville, Sarreguemines, Eastern France, circa 1880.

Condition report: In good and original condition, showing slight wear in keeping with its age and use.
