A 19th century French majolica Brasserie pitcher decorated with painted and glazed patterns reminiscent of a coopered timber jug, inscribed the advertising for the French 'Kronenbourg' beer (founded in the 17th century), as well as the name of the Brasserie in Villemer. Area of Isle de France, circa 1880.
