A French Copper Cake Mould

An early 20th century French ‘moule a gateau’, a copper cake mould decorated with a raised ‘repouséed’ pattern in Classical geometric shapes. Retaining its original tin-lined cooking interior and hanging-ring.

Condition report: In good and un-restored condition. Two repairable cracks on two ridges (see photo). Our workshop car carry out the repairs, on request. Currently not in usable condition.

Dimensions: Diameter 13 cm.
