A pair of vintage French Maison Jansen design Eglomise pier glass mirrors fitted into gilt frames, the surfaces of the mirrors decorated with fine hand-painted gilt foliate scroll-work in the Venetian style. Please note: the gilt patterns on these mirrors were hand-painted onto the rear of the glass prior to the mirrors' silvering. Area of Paris, circa 1960.
