A 19th century French Napoleon III period, Louis XVI carved and gilt oval mirror, the Neoclassical frame decorated with fine haut-relief oak leaf and acorn patterns and stylised foliate mouldings. The gilding retains the original, nicely worn patina. Fitted with the original mirror plate. Area of Paris, circa 1870.

Condition report: Complete and in excellent condition, requiring cleaning of gilt finish and touch ups. Please feel free to ask for a restoration quote from our workshop.
