A large French Provincial, Napoleon III period, Regence style gilt oval mirror, the frame carved with gadrooned mouldings, surmounted by a large fretted crest decorated with a central, out-sized 'Roccaille' motif, flanked by scrollwork and trellises of flowers. Retaining its original mirror plate. Please note the wonderfully rustic character of this mirror. Area of Normandy, circa 1880.

Condition report: Complete and in good, unrestored condition. Requiring light cleaning and small touch ups.
