A 19th century French Napoleon III period, Louis XVI style gilt mantle mirror, the pediment decorated with a large and fretted 'Coquille' motif and with trellises of haut-relief foliate and floral scrollwork above a frame decorated with 'egg-and-dart' mouldings. Retaining the original gilt finish and its original mirror plate. Area of Paris, circa 1860.
