A fine 19th century French Napoleon III period, Louis XVI style Cushion mirror, the frame finely carved with acanthus leaf and with egg-and-dart patterns, retaining its original water-gilded finish. The crest and the plinth decorated with a large 'Cartouche' motif and with outsized foliate wreaths. Retaining all of its original mirror plates. Area of Paris, circa 1870.

Condition report: Complete and in good, as found condition, showing surface wear and gilding touch-ups suitable for its age.
