A fine Parisian Louis XVI Mirror

A 19th century French Napoleon III period, Louis XVI style gilt mirror of fine quality and of elegant proportions, the frame decorated with large acanthus leaf mouldings, surmounted by a crest decorated with an allegorical 'Torch & Quiver' motifs, allegories for the 'Flame of Passion' and the piercing 'Arrows of Intelligence', and also with a pair of 'Cooing Birds', an allegory for 'Romance'. The top corners of the mirror are festooned with swags of laurel leaves and trellises of flowers. Retaining the original gilding and the original mirror plate. Area of Paris, circa 1860.
Condition report: In good and original, unrestored condition.
