A Charles X period Mirror

A fine, French Charles X period gilt mantle mirror, the frame decorated with gilt pastille-work 'Palmette' motifs fitted with the original mirror plate. This elegant mirror can be hung vertically or horizontally, and is of simple and understated Neoclassical design. Paris, circa 1820.
