A fine Parisian Mantle Mirror

A French Napoleon III period, Louis XVI style gilt mantle mirror, the raised and stepped pediment and with a knotted bow crest and festooned with swags of flowers. The frame decorated with egg-and-dart and with string-of-pearls mouldings. Retaining the original and worn gilt finish and the original, bevelled edge mirror plate. Area of Paris, circa 1870.
